“My debut EP ‘Not About You’ was an act of justice to myself. I spent much of my life stressed, trying to meet others’ expectations. As a sensitive person working as a model, I was unaware of my own boundaries. During COVID, I hit a breaking point, which opened a period of self-discovery through music, writing, and redefining my style.Creating this EP was about showing who I truly am, without outside influence.
During that time, I kept writing about that feeling of freedom—something I only briefly felt until I realized that true freedom is accepting imperfection. Striving for perfection for others is a waste of time. Not About You was born from this realization, which has been the greatest lesson I’ve learned.”
