Paradiso Indiestad presents: Tomode + Support

Tomode, bestaande uit Viktor Westerberg en Carl Leanderson, viert het leven met volle teugen, en dat is te merken in hun muziek. Het duo maakt namelijk een zeer dansbare combinatie van funk en pop, geïnspireerd door Scandinavische disco uit de jaren 70. Zonder de sfeer te doden weet de band tijdens deze nummers hun hart aan het publiek bloot te stellen als ze zingen over opgroeien en alle moeilijkheden die daarbij komen kijken. Eind 2024 bracht Tomode hun langverwachte debuutalbum ‘Existential Disco’ uit, waarmee ze natuurlijk ook op tour gaan. Het duo zal hun mooiste vijfdelig kostuum uit de kast pakken en daarmee door Europa te trekken. Op 30 maart maken ze een stop in Toekomstmuziek.

On their debut album ‘Existential Disco’ the duo show off sparkling discotheque numbers such as those from the heyday of the genre at the end of the 1970s infused with a chilled Scandinavian melancholy. Opening their hearts without killing the mood, Viktor & Carl chronicle the woes of getting older, losing friends to their own self-indulgent obsessions and not mustering the energy to care about the end of the world.

After touring Europe with Australian phenom Donny Bénet on his ‘Infinite Desires’ tour through March of 2024, the duo is bringing their six piece outfit for a tour of France following the release of their anticipated debut album, playing at Supersonic, Bars En Trans and more.
